In The beginning...

During the summer of 1986, Playball Baseball Academy opened for business. The first clinic was held in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. The summer camp ran for six weeks and the academy has continued to expand and grow to where it is today.

Playball Today

Playball has been at its current location in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida since 1989. It has developed a reputation for offering the finest in professional baseball training, no matter what the age of the player may be. Players from the USA and all over the world have attended to learn from our instructors and further develop their baseball skills and knowledge.

Playball is considered one of America's top international instructional and player development baseball schools, and is the only academy of its kind that is open year round, operating 52 weeks of the year.

Our daily program, which covers all aspects of baseball from the basics through to the more specific, consists of proper individual instruction; offensive and defensive workouts and drills; group clinics by position; tactical sessions; regular inter squad baseball scrimmage games; intensive daily physical training; involvement in organised league games; and much more all under the guidance of our instructors.

Playball is a highly reputable organisation where some Major and Minor League players workout in preparation for their upcoming pro seasons.
